Weather and Accommodation

Chitwan's weather is pleasant, comfortable and festive during October with ambient temperature varying between 10 to 25 oC. You may experience the occasional drizzle during the evening and may need light warm clothes. There are several good hotels within 8 km from the venue. The tariff may vary from NRs. 4000 to 5000 for single and double accommodation. Participants are requested to book at any of the hotels around Bharatpur and Gaidakot area. These hotels are located at the heart of Bharatpur Metropolitan City in Central Nepal and offer accommodation to the participants within a range of US$ 30 to US$ 60 per night. Finding and booking reservation on-line of any appropriate hotel for accommodation in due advance is highly appreciated/recommended. The airport pick-up and drop facilities are made available to the guest by most of the hotels. The hotels provide unlimited internet facilities through free WI-FI services. Diversified foods items (Nepalese, Indian, Continental etc.) in the hotels are made available upon request. Getting “Halal” food upon request is also common in the hotels.
