The university has established Agriculture Science Centers as outreach centers under DoREX management. Initially, such centers have been set up in Palung, Makawanpur, and Ghyalchok, Gorkha. The main objective of an Agriculture Science Center is to conduct training on the latest innovations related to agriculture, livestock, forestry, and fisheries, facilitate demonstrations to verify the latest technologies among representative farmers and stakeholders, and disseminate innovative information to farming communities. Masters and Ph.D. students may conduct their thesis research to address farmers' immediate and practical problems. The university senate has decided to establish Agriculture Science Centers in Dhading and Kalikot districts and aims to extend such centers to other provinces based on geographical conditions and the requirements of the places.
